Powerlight insert bearing
Frontier worked closely with Powerlight to develop a replacement bearing on a new design. The design involved an overlay of molded UHMW-PE, which is assembled onto an square steel tube. This concept offered significant weight reduction, a non-stick highly durable surface and cost reduction. Several proto-types were presented and rigorously tested ultimately leading to a successful design. Frontier built all the molds and completes all machining and molding operations in house. |
